Brisket
This was sooo good, I didn't want to finish it so I could indulge more into the pleasure, I only ate half so I could finish later at home. I ordered another to go and spread it out over the next two days.

Pulled Pork Sandwich
Had a fantastic time here - delicious meal & an excellent band playing under the festive tent - will definitely be back! Portions were generous & everything was finger licking good ? two thumbs up!
Trip-Tip Sandwich
Sun Music & Meat! The Meat is Neat The Music was Tasty The warm sun and delicious food pair perfectly with the beer and watermelon lemonade. The surrounding grounds have some amazing large scale sculptures that cast off plenty of shade, making it easy to find some relief from the hot afternoon sun. The kids will delight in the jaws of the giant alligator. The grand-parents will no doubt find delight in telling anyone who'll listen about their own grandparents Victrola that they themselves played with when they too were little tadpoles in the puddle of life. Let's not forget the sides on offer here. We had the slaw, the sweet Cowboy beans and the savory butter beans (were those really butter beans or small white navy beans?) We ate slowly and enjoyed the live band as they offered up a selection of lively odds and ends that even included Rock Salt & Nails which brought back some fine memories of our old buddy (goodnight) Utah Phillips, that gone but not soon forgotten old American hobo tramp story-telling folk singer. (Thanks to the band for that one). After lunch we walked down to the beach and watched a regata of hundreds of sailboats of all shapes and sizes congregate in the bay before sailing off into the far reaches of the bay. We eventually made our way back to the sculpture garden for some delicious raspberry and cream gelato bars. A fun windy drive that most newbies will find themselves saying "gosh, I've never been out here before", just like me who's called the Bay Area home for 32 years and was surprised to find this cool secret hidden no so secret hideaway on the bay. Good time. Great food. Awesome music. Spectacular waterfront location. Go for it!
Brisket
Visited this place on a Saturday for lunch, with husband and two kids. We loved the brisket and pirate slaw! Kids loved the cornbread of course. Had a great time kayaking around the harbor after lunch too.

Grilled Portobello Mushroom Sandwich
Ooh my, This was outstanding. I'm a carnivore and have always ordered the meats from Black Star. But this weekend I wanted to fry the veggie option---since I've been telling my vegetarian friends it's on the menu. The grilled mushroom over cheesy grits was phenomenal. I will now be ordering it religiously along side my tri-tip. Kudos to the chef!
Skillet Mushroom + Onions
Pork, tri-tips, collard greens, tater tots, salad. We went by boat and met family there. What a wonderful experience. The food, music and company were wonderful. The vibe is friendly and creative. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and want to go again!
Brisket
What FUN! We didn't expect such a beautiful, fun funky venue. The food was good and everything came out the appropriate Temperature. Good band but hard to have a conversation while they were playing. DEFINITELY WILL RETURN! Dogs welcomed!
Brisket
Very good brisket! I got the Brussels sprouts and the fiesta corn in a misguided attempt to be healthy and eat some veg. Next time I would recommend the mac&cheese and the mac&cheese (tried the kid's and it was deeeee-lish). Also got the sangria, very good, and like the efficient new system where you take your number to the bar and pick up your drinks. And!!! Love the fun decor and the little artsy/vintage shop next to the auxiliary seating area. ?[?]?[?]?[?]?[?]?[?]
